North central Grafton County in northern New Hampshire... * Until 930 PM EDT. * At 842 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 miles west of Stratford to 8 miles northwest of Littleton to 17 miles northwest of Haverhill, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Berlin, Littleton, Lancaster, Bethlehem, Lincoln, Haverhill, Franconia, Errol, Stratford, Carroll, Lisbon, Jefferson, Bath, Dalton, Benton, Dummer, Easton, Whitefield, Northumberland, and Monroe. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
