Beach Hazards Statement issued June 21 at 9:25PM EDT until June 22 at 4:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH * WHAT...High risk of rip currents expected. * WHERE...Lucas and Ottawa Counties. * WHEN...From 4 AM EDT Monday through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
