Flash Flood Warning issued June 10 at 2:00AM EDT until June 10 at 3:15AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH At 200 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fremont, Bellevue, Clyde, Gibsonburg, Woodville, Elmore, Green Springs, Ballville, Risingsun, Lindsey, Helena, Burgoon, Stony Prairie, Vickery and Whites Landing. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
