Flood Advisory issued June 6 at 11:32PM EDT until June 7 at 3:30AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin and Licking. * WHEN...Until 330 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1130 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Westerville, Center Village, Johnstown, Galena, Alexandria, Newark, Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Worthington, Heath, Granville, Pataskala, Powell, Sunbury, Minerva Park, Summit Station, Beechwood Trails, and Easton. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
