Flood Warning issued July 7 at 12:03AM EDT until July 7 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield and Huntingdon. * WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1203 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... State College, Bellefonte, Tyrone, Park Forest Village, Boalsburg, Pleasant Gap, Philipsburg, Stormstown, Lemont, Bald Eagle, Zion, Houserville, Warriors Mark, Pine Grove Mills, Centre Hall, Osceola Mills, Milesburg, Tipton, Chester Hill and Ramblewood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Flood Watch issued July 6 at 2:01PM EDT until July 7 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Elk, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Montour, Northern Centre, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Southern Centre, Southern Clinton, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Union and York. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered slow moving thunderstorms and locally heavy downpours will develop this afternoon and linger into this evening.
