Flood Advisory issued June 16 at 2:02PM CDT until June 16 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Kewaunee County in northeastern Wisconsin... * WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 202 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kewaunee, Casco, Birchwood, Lincoln, Slovan, Rio Creek, Euren, Alaska, Gregorville, Scarboro and Rankin. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Kewaunee around 210 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Krok, Rostok, Slovan, Ellisville, Alaska, Birchwood, Casco, Scarboro, and East Krok. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
