Baraboo River At Reedsburg affecting Sauk County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Baraboo River at Reedsburg. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, There is general inundation of lowland in the Reedsburg area. The walking path adjacent to the river in Webb Park and Smith Conservancy is mostly covered with water. The public works yard is under several inches of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 14.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.1 feet on 10/24/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
