Red Flag Warning issued June 10 at 1:21PM PDT until June 11 at 5:00PM PDT by NWS Eureka CA * AFFECTED AREA...Southeastern Lake County. * WIND...North to northeast winds will increase Wednesday night to 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the ridges through Thursday morning. Winds will diminish in the afternoon to around 10 to 20 mph. * HUMIDITY...Recoveries on the ridges are only expected to be around 20 to 40 percent Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon the RH is expected to drop to 10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
