Red Flag Warning issued June 8 at 9:35AM PDT until June 9 at 9:00PM PDT by NWS Las Vegas NV ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN NEVADA INTO NORTHWESTERN ARIZONA THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING... * TIMING...Until 11 PM PDT / MST this evening, and then again from 10 AM PDT / MST Monday through 9 PM PDT / MST Tuesday. * WIND...Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * HUMIDITY...5 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
