Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Beach Hazards Statement issued July 26 at 1:33PM PDT until July 29 at 6:00PM PDT by NWS San Diego CA * WHAT...Surf of 3 to 6 feet with sets to 7 feet expected. Highest surf will be on south-southwest facing beaches. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Increased rip current risk, longshore current risk and dangerous swimming conditions. Minor coastal flooding is possible during evening high tides which are forecast to be 6.0 to 6.5 feet this evening though much of this week. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South-southwest swell of 2 to 3 feet from 200 degrees with a period of about 17 seconds. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
