Red Flag Warning issued June 10 at 9:13PM PDT until June 11 at 9:00AM PDT by NWS Eureka CA * AFFECTED AREA...Southeastern Lake County. * WIND...North to northeast winds will increase Wednesday night to 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the ridges through Thursday morning. Winds will diminish to 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon. * HUMIDITY...Recoveries on the ridges are only expected to be around 20 to 40 percent Thursday morning. Humidity is expected to drop to around 10 to 20 percent in the afternoon. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
