Red Flag Warning issued June 29 at 12:06AM MDT until June 29 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Denver CO * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 212, 213, 214 and 216. * TIMING...From noon today to 9 PM MDT this evening. * WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Sunday June 28 to 400 PM Monday June 29 IMPACTS...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Increasing wildfire smoke is possible Sunday afternoon and evening, especially in and near Denver and the local foothills to the west of the metro area. Another plume of wildfire smoke could impact the entire northern Front Range region Monday afternoon and evening. Both ozone and fine particulates could reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category or higher.
