These storms will be capable of producing rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches as they move east and southeast through this evening. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Kansas, including the following counties, Decatur, Graham, Norton, Rawlins, Sheridan and Thomas and southwest Nebraska, including the following counties, Hitchcock and Red Willow. * WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
