In Texas, Van Horn and Highway 54 Corridor. * WHEN...From noon MDT /1 PM CDT/ today to 8 PM MDT /9 PM CDT/ this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Look before you lock! Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles for even a moment. Car interiors will very quickly reach lethal temperatures. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
