Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Child Abduction Emergency issued June 6 at 11:08PM MDT by NWS El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM CAEEPZ THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. The Denton Police Department is searching for missing child Dominic Burgos, 4 years old, White, Male. The missing child was last seen at 3:00 PM, on June 3, 2024 in the 3800 block of Canyon Verde Lane, Denton, Texas. Police are looking for Selena Grasty, 40 years old, White, Female, in connection with the abduction of the child. The suspect is believed to be driving a gray 2015 Dodge Dart bearing Texas license plate T K K 5 5 3 1. The suspect was last seen in Denton, Texas. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS BELIEVE THE CHILD TO BE IN GRAVE OR IMMEDIATE DANGER. Anyone with information regarding this missing child should contact the Denton Police Department at 940-349-7970.
