Red Flag Warning issued July 23 at 12:15PM MDT until July 24 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 10 AM to 9 PM MDT Friday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * WIND...West at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these areas of this Red Flag Warning.

Extreme Heat Warning issued July 23 at 2:05PM MDT until July 26 at 10:00PM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT * WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 106 expected. For the Lake Wind Advisory, west winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected. * WHERE...Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern Valley, Garfield, McCone, and Petroleum Counties. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, from 10 AM Friday to 10 PM MDT Sunday. For the Lake Wind Advisory, from noon to 6 PM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong winds and rough waves can overturn small craft. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
