Fire Weather Watch issued July 22 at 11:51AM MDT until July 24 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Friday morning through Friday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 122, 134, 135, 136, and 137. * WIND...West at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these areas of this Fire Weather Watch.

Extreme Heat Watch issued July 22 at 10:03AM MDT until July 26 at 10:00PM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 101 possible. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Montana. * WHEN...From Friday morning through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
