Special Weather Statement issued June 16 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND At 730 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mott, or 33 miles northeast of Hettinger, moving southeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mott, New Leipzig, Burt and Bentley. Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
