Flood Watch issued June 23 at 7:38PM CDT until June 24 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Goodland KS Continuing heavy rain this morning and the potential for more heavy rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning continues to lead to flooding concerns. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Cheyenne KS, Decatur, Gove, Graham, Norton, Rawlins and Sheridan and southwest Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
