Red Flag Warning issued June 20 at 4:24AM PDT until June 20 at 11:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA ...WARM, DRY, AND WINDY ON SATURDAY WITH COLD FRONT PASSAGE... * Affected Area: Foothills of Central Washington Cascades (Zone 705), Waterville Plateau (Zone 706) and Western Columbia Basin (Zone 707). * Winds: West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * Relative Humidities: 12 to 22 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
