Red Flag Warning issued July 8 at 11:15AM PDT until July 8 at 10:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA * Affected Area: Okanogan Valley (Zone 703), Waterville Plateau (Zone 706) and Western Columbia Basin (Zone 707). * Winds: West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * Relative Humidities: 12 to 22 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
