High Surf Advisory issued June 7 at 8:39AM HST until June 8 at 6:00AM HST by NWS Honolulu HI ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES... .The current south swell is a bit stronger than forecast, generating surf slightly higher than forecast at High Surf Advisory threshold. While this advisory expires after tonight, another south swell expected to peak late Saturday into Sunday will boost surf heights above advisory threshold again. * WHAT...Surf 7 to 10 feet. * WHERE...South facing shores of Kahoolawe, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau, Oahu and the Big Island. * WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous. Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don't go out.
