Special Weather Statement issued June 19 at 3:39PM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK Friday afternoon into Sunday, the majority of the Central and Eastern Interior will see highs near/above 80F. Take caution while participating in outdoor activities planned for the solstice/holiday weekend. Stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activities in the afternoon when temperatures are the highest.
