Beatton River Provincial Park Weather Warnings

yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 5:08 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. The severe thunderstorm is located to the east of Fort St John near North Peace Regional Airport and is moving to the southeast at 30 km/h. The following communities will be impacted by this severe thunderstorm -Cecil Lake -Baldonelle ### Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
