Discussion: A warm and moist airmass will bring the potential for significant rainfall Tuesday. Two rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected with the first occurring overnight into the morning and the second occurring Tuesday afternoon through the evening. Areas that receive multiple thunderstorms or prolonged rainfall from slow moving thunderstorms may have the potential to exceed 80 mm, locally. At this point, the exact locations for the heaviest rain remains fairly uncertain. Rainfall warnings may be required as confidence grows.
