East Mossy Portage Weather Warnings

yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 9:43 p.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorms is located about 15 to 20 km east of Dawson Bay over the north basin of Lake Winnipegosis and is moving slowly to the east at 20 km/h. ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
