Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.

yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 8:18 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain. This line of thunderstorms is located between Temiscaming and western Temagami and is heading east at 30 kilometres per hour. ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail. Don't drive through flooded roadways.
