Showers and thunderstorms are developing and are moving slowly over the west of Laval, Île Bizard, Pierrefonds, Pointe-Claire and their immediate surroundings. The ground has a reduced ability to absorb the rain. Some of these thunderstorms could be accompanied by gusts and hail. ### Heavy rain will likely cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
