yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 2:48 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain. ### Local utility outages are likely. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. When thunder roars, go indoors! Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
