yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 1:25 a.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain. Thunderstorm Location: Along a north-south line from 30 km west of Woodland Caribou Provincial Park to Minnesota. Motion: Moving east at 60 km/h Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm) Locations in the Path: Werner Lake Clearwater Bay Kenora Whitefish Bay ### Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris. Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
