yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 7:42 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. Thunderstorm Location: 35 km north of Balgonie to Montana Motion: Moving east at 40 km/h Hazards: Wind: strong (up to 90 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm) Locations in the Path: Trossachs McLean Lake Alma Sedley Vibank Lipton Fort San Fort Qu'Appelle Weyburn Indian Head ### Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches.
