yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 9:45 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very heavy rain. Numerous thunderstorms are affecting the region. Motion: Slowly southeastward. Hazards: Rain: very heavy (50 - 100 mm) Locations in the Path: Verner Cache Bay Sturgeon Falls ### Some travel delays are likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
