What: Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Up to toonie size hail. Risk of a tornado. When: This afternoon and evening. Additional information: Showers and thunderstorms are expected to intensify early this afternoon. Once the storms have intensified there is a risk of a brief tornado. ### Local utility outages are possible. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
