Heavy Snow Watch Area: Southland north of S.H 96 and west of S.H 90, and Fiordland about and south of Lake Te Anau Forecast: Snow lowering to 200 metres, with heavy falls possible above 400 metres where snowfall amounts may approach warning criteria. Impact: Note: A Severe Weather Warning or Watch means conditions are favourable for severe weather in and close to the indicated area.
