Flood Advisory issued July 5 at 7:12PM CDT until July 5 at 8:45PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following counties, Christian and Todd. * WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oak Grove, Fort Campbell, Clarksville and Trenton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
