Special Weather Statement issued May 24 at 4:35AM EDT by NWS Jackson KY Low stratus and fog have developed across the area. The fog is also locally dense in some areas, reducing visibilities below one mile at times. Motorists should use extra caution and be prepared for a sudden drop in visibility. Reduce speed and use low beam headlights in foggy areas.
