Flood Warning issued June 4 at 8:25AM CDT until June 5 at 8:58AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, The North 250th Road by the Salt Creek Bridge will have water over the road in the section about 1/2 block north of the bridge where the road bends. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued this evening at 830 PM CDT.
