Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 30 at 7:15PM CDT until June 30 at 7:45PM CDT by NWS Dodge City KS At 714 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Modoc to 9 miles southwest of Friend to 11 miles south of Lakin to 8 miles northeast of Ulysses, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Scott City, Holcomb, Shallow Water, Friend and Garden City. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
