Southeastern Greene County in east central New York... * Until 400 AM EDT. * At 303 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Milton, or near Saugerties, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Saugerties, Rhinebeck, Amenia, Livingston, Copake, Pine Plains, Clermont, Red Hook, Ancram, Millbrook, Millerton, Stanfordville, Saugerties South, Wingdale, Dover Plains, Bethel, Veteran, Milan, Germantown, and Taghkanic. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm.
