Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Iowa River at Marengo. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water breaches the mill race dikes near Middle Amana. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.4 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
