HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Oakdale, Kinder, Oberlin, Turkey Creek, Reeves, Mittie, Allen Parish Airport, Harmony, Leblanc, Beaver, and Bond. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Flood Watch issued May 13 at 9:13AM CDT until May 14 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Lake Charles LA * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Evangeline, Rapides and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton and Tyler. * WHEN...Through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to affect the region again today into tonight. Portions of the area received 2 to 4 inches of rainfall Sunday, and an additional 1 to 3 inches is expected today, along with localized higher amounts.
