Flood Warning issued June 5 at 7:02AM CDT until June 7 at 2:30PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri... 102 River at Rosendale affecting Buchanan and Andrew Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...102 River at Rosendale. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding begins. At 18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of Rosendale is overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0 feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town which prevents travel in or out of town. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:57 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 19.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Southeastern Nodaway County in northwestern Missouri... * WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 628 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
