Fire Weather Watch issued May 5 at 4:01AM CDT until May 6 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Dodge City KS The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 061, 062, 063, 074, 075, 076, 084, 085, and 086. * WIND...15 to 20 mph with frequent gusts to 30 mph. * HUMIDITY...8 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
