Areas likely to be affected include the Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts and parts of the Illawarra, Central Tablelands and Riverina forecast districts. DAMAGING WINDS averaging 80 to 90 km/h with peak gusts up to 110 km/h are likely over alpine areas, easing during Sunday morning. Locations which may be affected include Thredbo Top Station and Cabramurra. 86 km/h sustained winds were recorded at Thredbo Top Station at 7:21 pm.
